This blog will serve as a collection of my thoughts, experiences, and adventures while biking through Africa with 55 other people starting Jan 12th and ending May 10th.
I am an Anthropology/Sociology instructor at North Central Michigan College. Currently, I am on sabbatical researching group dynamics so I can study a group of bike riders, of which I will be one, that will be from Cairo to Cape Town starting in Jan. 2008. Who knows why I am drawn to these endurance events but this one will be the longest one I have ever done!
